All Ford Meet in Graham Washington
Labor Day, September 3, 2000
|
This location brings back many memories
for me. I moved to USA from Sweden in 1982,
and I was just getting to know some friends
that I have met thru the local Chevy Classic
Club. I had just sold my 427 powered 4 speed
1957 Chevy in Sweden in order to move here,
and I was missing my shoebox. One of the
club members was going to a meeting here,
and he offered me a ride in his yellow '57
Chevy. I was quick to accept. I needed to
look out over those hood spears again. I did
a article about that meet for a now defunct
Swedish car magazine, Start & Speed. (What a
great name!)
Today, the event was an All Ford meet. It
was obviously not to strict on the corporate
loyalty, since a fair amount of GM and other
brands were present. I like a good mix,
everything from Hot Rods, Muscle Cars to
Fifties cruisers all have something to
offer.

| This
super clean Mercury with Plexiglas
roof was a joy to inspect. |
Super
sano interior, it even had curtains
to cover the Plexiglas when it gets
too hot. Check out that steering
wheel. |

1957 Lincoln
Premier Convertible is something you
don't see everyday. This car a very
nice example.
|
| Ford
3 window coupe |
Instead of the usual small block
Chevy, this coupe was motivated by a
Ardun Hemi converted flat head.
Right On! |

The mandatory Deuce
fender-less highboy was present. This one
with refreshing Big Block power.
Rio red 1958 Chevrolet
convertible. This one is mostly stock, but
it is sporting a tuck & roll interior.
Debbie would have liked that...
Cruise on...
