The 1958 Impala Sport Coupe was the type of car that the whole neighborhood would notice when it rolled onto the block. It was big, beautiful, advanced and the type of car you'd expect presidents and dignitaries to be driving. These were the top of the Bel Air line and cost close to $2,700 for the V8 version, not a small sum in 1958. Over 125,000 Sport Coupes were built and they helped Chevrolet regain the number one production spot that year. These days, prices range from about $10,000 for a mostly complete, non-running car to over $100,000 for a restored or rare original Impala. Good credit orbad credit auto loans for an Impala these days are going to be hard to come by, but with some persistence and a good auto loans provider, it certainly is still possible to finance a nice Impala to rebuild or restore.
